"There are more than just a few things that can be said about Annie Penrice. She is a care giver, a self-less mother teacher and friend. Annie is the most caring and compassionate person I have ever met in my twenty years of existence. No matter who someone is or where they come from, if they need her she will be there whether it be advice, a shoulder to cry on. She is the only person I can count on for anything that I may need including the therapeutic effects of getting to help with her horses and the occasional slap of reality that most people never get. Annie's passion for horses and teaching people of all ages about them cannot be measured in any amount. She is very stubborn and if someone says it can't be done she will use every single resource and ounce of energy she has to make sure it is even if she has to use maggot therapy or create a hyper baric chamber out of a trash bag and an oxygen tank....she will do everything in her power to make sure a horse that is in danger of losing its life will not only continue to live but also have a full recovery. She is truly amazing. As for her business, Tough Heart Riding Horse Therapy there couldn't be a better name to express fully how and by whom this business is run. Annie is a no nonsense kind of woman. Whether it's with her students or horses she shows how to show tough love when it's needed. She doesn't put up with whining or complaining and isn't afraid to tell anyone what she thinks of people who do either or. Annie's connection to her horses and students is as deep as that as a mother to her own child. It is truly one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and gotten the chance to experience. She is developing young minds through the excellence of tough love and riding horses."

"I have been taking lessons from Annie for a few months. Her lessons have helped me grow as an individual mentally and physically. Eventually I have prospects to work for Tough Heart Riding as Annie's business grows. As a college student this is an outlet for recreation of a wholesome nature and I intend to recommend my friends to come up here. As a student advisor I see this as an opportunity to reach out and get my residents involved in the community.
